About
Flour on my hands, Scripture on my heart.
I bake bread, tend a row of lavender, and read my Bible with the same stubborn attention. For years I was told there were questions a woman shouldn't ask. So I asked them — gently, and out loud.
What you'll find here are essays written slowly, from a farmhouse in the Pacific Northwest: on the Scriptures, on calling, and on the courage to speak when silence is expected. I am not interested in winning arguments. I am interested in what the text actually says, and in what it means for the women who love it.
Gracious
No score-settling. Kindness as a discipline.
Godly
Rooted in the text, submitted to the Author.
Courageous
Willing to say the quiet part kindly, and clearly.
